The International University of Rabat (UIR) is the first university to have been set up as part of a partnership between the Moroccan State and the private sector in the field of higher education. This partnership allows UIR to work towards the attainment of its objectives: excellence in education, research, and active participation in the socio-economic development of the region and the kingdom, at large. The School of Computer Science at UIR invites applications for a full-time faculty position in information security at the assistant or associate professor level. We are seeking candidates in the field of cybersecurity in the broadest possible sense-including but not limited to theoretical foundations, algorithms, systems, software, and applications.
Mission
The successful applicant will contribute to both undergraduate and graduate teaching across the School of Computer Science program. The successful applicant will teach courses in cybersecurity such as applied cryptography, OS security, Database Security and Web technologies Security, Network Security, Computer Forensics, and Security Management as well as Foundation Courses in computer science and computing.
Research :
The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent and innovative research program aligned with the areas indicated above.
Profil
Candidates must have a doctorate, or be in the final phase of doctoral studies in Computer Science or a related field. Evidence of excellence in research and teaching is required. The position involves teaching in French and English. Salaries are competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
